The coffee sign is clearly misspelled. Let’s fix it.
1.Use Midjourney Inpainting to Create Meaningful Words
Using inpainting, select the region of the sign with spelling mistakes. Then, replace the prompt in the text box with the appropriate letters and press submit.
Here are the results. Not bad, but we are still missing an ‘E’. We will continue carrying out inpainting to add the extra ‘E’.
The question is, which of the 4 signs below should we perform inpainting on?
2.Take Advantage of Word Spacing for Best Results
It turns out you should only perform inpainting on the 4th sign. We shouldn’t do inpainting on signs 1, 2 & 3.
This is because there isn’t enough space for Midjourney to insert the letter ‘E’ at the end while keeping both sides balanced.
Even if we try, no ‘E’ will be added.
After performing inpainting one more time, we have our COFFEE sign spelled correctly!
3. Change the Font of the Text
Now, here are 2 more useful tips:

We will be using the following example, where I want to change the word “FAMARE” generated by Midjourney into “FLAME”.
Sometimes, you just don’t like a font on an image.
To change it, you want to inpaint over the entire word so that all the text is covered.
Then Midjourney will generate text with a new font for you. Otherwise, it will maintain the original font.
4. Avoid a Common Problem
A common problem is that MJ will not allow you to perform inpainting if the selection region is too small.
This is a problem if your word is too small. To fix this, just make one more selection on a random part of the image. See the example in the image below.
After some tries, I was able to get Midjourney to change the font of this nice logo & make the spelling correct at the same time. Great.
One last tip. If you want to generate more similar logos, just press the “Vary (Subtle)” button.
Here are many more logos based on the original image, all with correctly spelled words. Nice!
